Gangsta Lasers

Who we are

Our mission is to raise awareness that laser treatments on the skin can be safe and effective

We founded Gangsta Lasers to educate, to show and to raise awareness that laser removal can be an effective and safe treatment.

Our mission

A laser removes nothing. It breaks pigment apart — and we say out loud how to do that well.

  1. The laser breaks pigment apart

A laser's job is to break pigment particles into smaller fractions so that the body can metabolise them. The whole process takes place inside the tissue.

  2. Complications are not the norm

We often see complications — open skin, weeping wounds, burns, scars and discolouration — after treatments that were carried out incorrectly. That is not normal, and we say so out loud.

  3. Equipment and knowledge

We brought high-quality nanosecond and picosecond laser devices to the Polish market — but above all, substantive training built on scientific knowledge.

  4. Devices made to our order

Our devices for removing permanent make-up and tattoos are manufactured to our order, to our own specifications and suggestions.

The founders

Olena and Justyna

In 2021 we brought together training, engineering and cosmetology experience to support both clients and laser operators.

Graduates and colleagues describe Olena and Justyna in a word each (24 s, in Polish, with subtitles in your language).

Beginnings

My name is Olena. I trained as an engineer-technologist in machine and laser device construction and as an economist, but my love of beauty and aesthetics led me into the beauty industry. I began with eyelash extensions and volume lashes. Since 2012 I have run a Training Centre. Along the way I expanded my services to aesthetic and medical micropigmentation. I also specialise in removing and correcting badly done pigmentation. A passion for creating beauty, years of experience and the knowledge I have gained are what I bring to my work every day, with great commitment.

Specialisation

Looking for specialist knowledge and the right tools to remove artificial pigment from the skin — other than chemical removal with removers — in 2020 I came to Dr Mikrukov's Academy, where I completed training in safe laser removal techniques. I gained my experience as a trainer working with many training institutions in Poland and abroad.

Certifications

I am a certified trainer in eyelash extensions and volume lashes, aesthetic and medical micropigmentation, removal of permanent make-up and tattoos with nanosecond and picosecond technology, and hair removal with millisecond technology.

Gangsta Lasers

Watching the beauty industry in Poland, I saw that both clients and operators needed support with safe techniques for laser removal of permanent make-up and tattoos. That is why in 2021, together with Justyna Grondke-Trąbska, I created Gangsta Lasers — a project to educate both clients and operators of laser devices.

Our devices

I also brought to the Polish market devices for removing permanent make-up and tattoos that are manufactured to our order, to our own specifications and suggestions. That is exactly why Gangsta Lasers devices are so exceptional.

Let's meet

Let's get to know each other! My name is Justyna. I trained as an economist and a sociologist, but in my second year of sociology I started, out of sheer enthusiasm, to get absorbed in cosmetics and cosmetology. Along the way I spent 4 years as a dental assistant — reportedly an irreplaceable one. And so, without a break since 2009, I have worked intensively in the beauty industry. Looking back, I think that if my love of biology at school had been greater than my love of Polish and history, I might have ended up in medicine — but that is a story for another day.

My own salon

I have run my own business since 2014 — first in a small salon on the Reda estate in Szczecin, and now in Podzamcze (the old town), a fairy-tale spot on the city map. Over the 15 years of my career I have completed a school and a huge number of courses in different fields of cosmetics and permanent make-up.

Life is too short for boring hair.

Specialisation

In 2018 I graduated from a school for trainers. My speciality, though, became the removal of failed pigmentation. Combining medical and cosmetology experience with work in PMU has given me a multidimensional view of every problem that comes to me. In 2021 I met Olena Yantsova, and that is how Gangsta Lasers was born.

Outside work

Outside work, I am a fan of crazy hairstyles, because life is too short for boring hair. I love to travel, to learn new skills and to meet new people. I am a mum to two Canadian Sphynx cats and I am completely crazy about them. Public speaking is nothing new to me — for 10 years I was the backing vocalist of the band Reactor7x.

Today was my second session removing permanent eyeliner… In my opinion the best, most professional person removing PMU and more, with top-quality equipment… I feel very safe with Olena, I know that the client’s wellbeing, health and satisfaction are her priority. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and see you soon.

After two years of testing devices (on myself too, of course), digging into the subject, watching the market and learning — we did it… They showed me that permanent make-up and tattoos can be removed without traumatising the skin. Great equipment, great training, both online and in person.
